The events provided insight into current tech trends and how they are reshaping the world.
Daisy, along with partner Mitel, hosted two thought-provoking half-day events with the aim of educating UK businesses on digital transformation. The events welcomed small to medium-sized businesses across the UK from a variety of industries, each of them at varying points along their digital journeys.
Hear from some of the attendees themselves on what they thought about the events, and how Daisy has helped to develop SMB customer infrastructures by watching the videos below!
Held in Manchester on 14 September and London on 28 September, the content on the day included insight into current industry trends and leading cloud technologies.
A key highlight at the events was Mitel presenting its portfolio of solutions and explaining how together, Daisy and Mitel are able to enhance a business’ efficiency through digitalisation.
The events proved successful with the attendees, as they were given the opportunity to network with peers from some of the UK’s leading small to medium businesses; sharing common tales of their challenges and discussing the new collaborative ways of working that they had been told about on the day.
Attendee Victor Narciso, IT Manager at Bloodwise:
Attendee, Stuart Hitchman, Head of ICT at Rooftop Housing Group commented, “It was very good. All the content was on the theme of exactly what we’re looking to do. We’re a small to medium-sized business, so we don’t necessarily have the time or experience to write our own digital strategy. It was great to have an opportunity to engage and learn how Daisy and Mitel can support us with creating one.”
Attendee Steve Hodges, Systems Manager at Telehouse Europe Ltd:
One of the key speakers at the events was Nathan Marke, Chief Digital Officer at Daisy Group. From cloud-based integrated collaboration and communication tools to creating an agile workforce, Marke gave an insight into current technology market trends and how they are reshaping the world we operate in.
Attendee Shivraj Modhvadia, System Administrator at Nowtel Group:
Alan Clarke IT Manager at Bemis Ltd who attended the event stated, “I think there is a lack of awareness because most small businesses just don’t have the expertise in house. The reason is probably because there’s a perception that there is a high cost to introduce the sort of technology that we’ve seen today. But if it’s in the cloud, for example, it can actually be a lot cheaper. This event told me exactly what I wanted to know and how far these collaboration solutions can go.”
