Take your connectivity into the cloud and control your entire network easily to ensure it runs smoothly and securely with SD-WAN

What is SD-WAN?

SD-WAN (software-defined wide-area networks) uses software to control the connectivity, management and services between sites.

It’s a technique, rather than a connection and it makes wide-area networks more intelligent and more flexible.

Typically if your business has offices around the country, each office has its own network provider and, when new sites are added or offices are moved each change requires a new installation and a new provider.

However, with cloud-based SD-WAN it can integrate with any current connection and disperse its network across multiple sites. In effect, it’s a traffic control system that ensures connectivity and bandwidth demands are met.

Benefits of SD-WAN

  • Single centralised point which overviews and manages all business network ports
  • Rapid deployment of services without the need for IT personnel
  • Bandwidth can be added or reduced as business requirements evolve
  • Built-in encryption, content filtering and firewalls
  • Service updates carried out remotely
  • Single appliance rather than multiple saves on maintenance costs
  • 24/7/365 UK-based customer support

Frequently Asked Questions

SD-WAN isn’t essential for businesses but it can be a useful solution to have as it ensures connectivity and bandwidth needs are met throughout your business.

Don’t worry, we’ll help you with that. Better still, we’ll be able to help you remotely as well, saving you money on maintenance costs. SD-WAN is a single appliance and service updates can be carried out remotely, making the solution an easy one to manage.

Yes! Instead of having different connections to each of your offices, SD-WAN gathers one single connection and disperses it across your locations to ensure needs are met across your business.
