SafeWeb Plus Terms and Conditions- July 2024
The Daisy Terms & Conditions for the Provision of Equipment, Maintenance Services, Fixed Network Services and other services available here Terms & Conditions – Daisy Communications (daisycomms.co.uk) (“Conditions”) and these Service Specific Conditions govern the supply and receipt of the SafeWeb services, such services being deemed to be “Consultancy Services” and “Services” as defined in the Conditions.
1. Introduction
1.1. Except where set out below, capitalised terms shall be given the meaning ascribed to them in the Conditions.
2. SafeWeb Plus Service
2.1. The SafeWeb Plus service will search the dark web for the Customer’s Domain to identify breaches of email addresses and associated passwords and if identified will provide the Customer with reports of such breaches only. The Company cannot provide any guarantee or warranty that the SafeWeb Plus Service will identify all or any breaches and the Customer accepts that the Service is performed on an endeavours-only basis
2.2. The Company will provide reports to the email address provided by the Customer. It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure that up to date email address contact details have been provided to the Company.
2.3. SafeWeb Plus is a reactive service and the Company will only provide reports after a breach occurs.
2.4. It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure that email addresses and passwords and its confidential and/or sensitive information are secured in line with best industry practice.
2.5. Where a breach is identified, it is the Customer’s responsibility to undertake the appropriate action to remediate the breach promptly and in line with best industry practice.
2.6. The Customer is responsible for all proactive and reactive cyber security measures it deems necessary if a breach of email address, passwords or other information has been identified.
2.7. The Company accepts no liability for any breach of email, passwords or other information or the Customer’s failure to remediate any such breach.
2.8. The SafeWeb Plus Service is not intended to replace IT security best industry practice or any preventative cyber security measures.
2.9. If the Customer requests the Company to support it in remediating a breach (and if the Company agrees to provide such support) it will be subject to an additional charge.
2.10. The Customer may terminate the Contract at any time on not less than 30 days’ written notice to the Company.
2.11. The monthly Charge for SafeWeb Plus is as set out on the Order Form or correspondence from the Company, as adjusted in accordance with the Conditions.
