Teams meeting
Zoom in and zoom out when viewing screenshare
You can now use newly available buttons to zoom in, zoom out, and restore to original size when viewing screenshares from others. The button appears in the bottom-right corner of the screenshare.
Collaborative notes in Microsoft Teams meetings
This new feature can let the meeting attendees co-create and collaborate in real time on the meeting agenda, notes, and follow-up tasks. You can schedule the meeting from Teams that include an agenda, and everyone in the meeting can edit during the meeting. You could also follow up on the notes after the meetings, as they are in sync as changes are made across apps.
Customise captions in Teams meetings
The new caption settings pane gives you the ability to customise the size of the font as well as the height and position of the caption windows, with the option to scroll to review captions of what has been said up to one minute ago. It allows for better discovery and easier navigation.
Chat and collaboration
Find your content faster when you search in a specific chat or channel
Finding information you need can take some time if you have to go through multiple groups and conversations in your chats and channels. Microsoft Teams’ new feature enables you to use the CTRL+F keyboard shortcut (or Command + F for Mac) to display the search window ‘Find in chat’ or ‘Find in channel’, type in the keyword, and it shows the results pertaining to the specific chat or channel.
Work location in Teams
Work location gives you the flexibility to easily change the location for that day without impacting on the remainder of the week. Anyone using Scheduling Assistant will be able to see your updated location. To change your location from Teams, do the following: Simply click on your profile picture, view your account settings, and change your work location for that day.
Compact chat list
A new chat density setting will enable you to condense your chat list and have more chats displayed on the screen. This provides a new way to view your Teams and allows you to prioritise which chats you want to focus on first.
