Microsoft has announced that it will be ending support on several product in 2023. You can see the Microsoft end of support list below. 

Microsoft end of support 

Office 2019 

Microsoft will be ending mainstream support for Office 2019 Windows Version on October 10, 2023. After this point, users of Office 2019 will not be able to connect to Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business etc. 

Office 2019 Windows version will only receive two years of extended support from Microsoft, which means they will reach full end of support from October 14, 2025. After that time, users will no longer receive any security and technical updates from Microsoft.  

However, Office 2019 version for Mac will not receive any extended support from Microsoft. Users from Office 2019 for Mac will reach complete end of support from Microsoft on October 10, 2023. 

Office 2016 

The mainstream support for Office 2016 ended October 13, 2020. Microsoft will be ending the extended support for Office 2016 Windows on October 14, 2025. Users of Office 2016 will no longer receive any security and technical updates from Microsoft. 

Office 2013 

All support for the Office 2013 original release version ended on April 14, 2015. Unless you are using Office 2013 Service Pack 1, Microsoft will be ending the extended support on April 11, 2023.  

Windows 10 

Microsoft will be ending their support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. Non-subscription customers currently using Microsoft 8.1 will still be able to use the available services but will no longer receive any important security or technical updates. 

Those who do have a Microsoft, Microsoft 365, or other Office licence, will also will no longer receive Office app updates, including features, bug fixes, and other privacy safety updates.  

Windows Server 2012/2012 R2

For Windows Server 2012/2012 R2 customers, the end of support date is 10 October 2023. After this date, these products will no longer receive any updates include security updates, non-security updates and technical support.

 

No longer supported 

Windows 8.1 

Microsoft ended its support for Windows 8.1 on January 10, 2023. Non-subscription customers currently using Microsoft 8.1 will still be able to use the available services but will no longer receive any important security or technical updates. 

Those who do have a Microsoft, Microsoft 365 or other Office licence, will also will no longer receive Office app updates, including features, bug fixes, and other privacy safety updates.
