UK Personal Numbering Service
18 October 2019
Prior to 1 October 2019, calls to 070 numbers – known as the personal numbering service – were charged at between five to ten pence per minute.
However, in October 2019, Ofcom published guidance to all 070 providers outlining that the cost of these calls should be no more than a standard call to a non-headline mobile.
Following this, Daisy will now charge calls to 070 numbers at 18 pence per minute, which falls in line with our Standard Call Tariff Base Rates.

Price increase on call for voice services
1 August 2019
At Daisy Communications Ltd., we pride ourselves in providing our customers with cost-effective and future-ready services, including hosted voice and SIP trunking services. The UK telecoms industry is going through a major transformation with many fixed-line voice services migrating to hosted voice and SIP-based services following Openreach’s announcement regarding the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) switch off in 2025.
As a result, the price of calls in all voice services (excluding calls from mobiles) is regularly increasing as the cost to run legacy network services increases. We review any pricing increases carefully before absorbing or passing these on to our customers, but over the last 12 months, we have seen a number of pricing changes from both our fixed line and VoIP providers. After much consideration, we must now, unfortunately, pass these increases on to our customers.
Therefore, from the 1 September 2019, out of bundle calls to all destinations across our fixed line and VoIP services (including but not limited to Hosted Voice and SIP Trunking) will be increased as a flat rate of 5%. Please note this does not impact calls from mobiles. Should you have an inclusive call bundle, please note your in-bundle free of charge rate will not be affected.

- ISDN2 / 30 lines – increase of £ 0.50 per line

The right for small businesses to exit their contract without penalty applies only to contracts entered into on or after 23 January 2014.
